Optotek announces new usb evaluation kits for its custom LED driver ICs, the OTL-444A and OTL-888W. The kits include a led driver IC with 8 of the 64 current drivers connected to LEDs, a usb computer interface, usb cable and software to control the device.

Optotek announces the introduction of linear UV LED printheads to complement its existing line of custom LED display products and related electronic subsystems. The new LED printhead products are intended for UV exposure applications in computer-to-plate and other digital printing applications.

Optotek's UV printheads are modular in design, allowing construction of printheads of any desired length. (Examples include 20.5 inch 150 DPI printheads for linear scanning applications.)

Power outputs range from 50-2000 microwatts at peak wavelength of 365-395 nm.

Optotek announces the introduction of linear UV LED arrays to complement its existing line of custom LED display products and related electronic subsystems. The new LED array products are intended for UV exposure applications, including curing photosensitive materials in computer-to-plate and related digital printing applications.

Optotek's UV arrays are modular in design, allowing construction of curebars (TM) of any desired length. (Examples include 20.5 inch curebars for linear scanning applications and 0.5 curebars for dual-axis scanning.)

Power outputs range from 2-5 watts/sq. cm at peak wavelength of 395 nm. Novel optical configurations are used to achieve LED line widths of 0.1 inches.
